Little Girls Hairstyles

Hey girls! Today I am doing a hair tutorial on my little sister. I decided to do two simple snake braids that connect at the back of her head. This little girls hairstyle can be worn to any occasion. The day I filmed this look, she wore this style to school. I think it would be adorable for a flower girl or any special occasion.

To make this hairstyle more dressy, add little flowers to the braid and then curl the ends of hair. If the hair is naturally curly braid the hair while it is wet, then let the rest of the hair air dry.

For this hairstyle you will need:

* comb
*elastic rubberband
* curling iron (if hair isn’t naturally curly)

Follow these five easy steps to create this look:

Step One: Take a thick section of hair. I usually start with where the part is to the ear. When the front looks like a half updo you will know you have taken enough hair from that side.

Step Two: Next braid the section towards the back of the head. Once you have reached the end of the hair, separate the outer two sections from the middle section of the braid. Now you will hold on to the middle strand with one hand and push the outer strands up toward the top of the braid.

Step Three: Fan out the braid so it is a little loser and you are able to see the cool design that you have just created. Now you can tie the end off with an elastic rubber band.

Step Four: Repeat steps one through three on the opposite side of the head.

Step Five: Join the two braids together at the back of the head with an elastic.

If you were in a rush and satisfied with the look you could stop here. For a more formal occasion you should:

Step Six: Curl the ends of the hair with a one inch curling iron.

Step seven: Put little flowers, such as baby’s breath in the braid.

You are finished! I hope your little girls special occasion is as amazing as she is. :)
