How To Style Natural Hair – No Heat Hairstyle – Side Ponytail With Fishtail Braid

Hey Guys! I have created another NO HEAT hairstyle. This side ponytail is very unique because it starts as a fishtail braid. Taylor Swift had worn a similar hairstyle a few years back. This style is perfect for a sophisticated look.

For this hairstyle you will need:
Teasing Comb
Bobby Pins
Small hair tie or rubber band

Follow these 7 easy steps to create this look:

Step 1: Tease the hair starting behind your bangs. Check out my How To Tease       tutorial.
Step 2: Smooth the top of your hair with a soft brush. Make sure that you can not see       the hair that is teased.
Step 3: Take the top half of your hair (on the side without bangs) and pull to the back of       your head. Then bobby pin.
Step 4: Repeat step 3 on the side with bangs except make sure when you bobby pin       the pins criss cross. This will help the hairstyle to stay.
Step 5: Start to create a fishtail braid.
Step 6: When you have about 3/4 of the ponytail left thats when you will tie the
ponytail. (1/4 of the ponytail is the fishtail braid)
Step 7: Hairspray the hair!
